New Set Release Announcement: Pokémon TCG ‘Scarlet & Violet: Journey Together’
Mark your calendars, Pokémon fans—Scarlet & Violet: Journey Together is on the horizon! This exciting new English set is set to release on March 28th, 2025, with prerelease events running from March 15th to March 23rd. Based on Japan’s Battle Partners set, this release brings thrilling gameplay dynamics, iconic Pokémon, and the return of the beloved Owner’s Pokémon.

The Journey Together set builds on the success of Japan’s Battle Partners release, with some incredible additions to look forward to. Highlights include Lillie’s Clefairy ex, Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex, and N’s Zoroark ex, all of which bring powerful new strategies and dazzling artwork to the game. Two variations of N’s Reshiram are also set to make an appearance, each featuring unique abilities that collectors and players won’t want to miss.
Owner’s Pokémon return in full force, a nod to classic sets that longtime fans will adore. Iconic trainers like Misty, Ethan, and Arven join the mix, bringing Pokémon like Misty’s Psyduck, Ethan’s Pichu, and Arven’s Mabosstiff into the spotlight. While it’s unclear whether all these cards will debut in Journey Together or a future set, the hype is real!
In addition to the set, deck-building enthusiasts can look forward to the inclusion of cards from Japan’s upcoming Starter Set ex Steven’s Beldum & Metagross ex and Starter Set ex Marnie’s Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex, releasing in Japan on February 21st. These cards add even more versatility and strategy to your gameplay. Pokémon previewed these and other stunning cards during the closing ceremonies of the Pokémon World Championships, teasing an unforgettable set release.
